Exploring Beekeeping is a 3 hour ONLINE introductory course presented by the California Master Beekeeper Program volunteers at the South Coast Research and Extension Center in Irvine, Orange County, CA. In this  course you will learn about:

-City ordinances

-Beehive location

-Time and financial requirements of keeping bees

-Bee nutrition

-Honey bee races

-Pesticides

-Obtaining and installing new bees

-Keeping healthy hives
