2026 State of the Science Summit: Reducing Methane from Animal Agriculture
The UC Davis College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, CLEAR Center, Spark Climate Solutions, and California Department of Food and Agriculture invite you to participate in a three-day summit focused on:
- Cutting-edge mitigation strategies, such as advancements in breeding, genetics, and feed additives.
- Collaboration and groundbreaking research to accelerate enteric methane mitigation strategies.
- Enteric methane innovation, including measurement techniques, carbon market dynamics, and effective communication strategies.
The Summit will be held on June 16 - 18, 2026 at UC Davis.
The program will include informational presentations and engaging panel discussions uniting diverse perspectives from stakeholders across beef and dairy supply chains. Participants will include producers, consumer goods companies, policymakers, and researchers, among others. We'll explore strategies to advance enteric methane mitigation and drive meaningful progress toward industry climate goals.
