Somm Day: All About Mead
Filet mignon. Ahi tuna. Rosemary chicken breast... As a sommelier, you know what wines to pair with each. But what if someone asks for mead? The Honey and Pollination Center and the Culinary Institute of America have partnered to present a day for sommeliers. You will learn how to taste different varieties of mead, how to pair those meads with food, and learn about mead’s most important ingredient: honey.
