The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Foundation Plant Services cordially invite you to the groundbreaking of the new $5.25 million greenhouse that will soon be built to safeguard an important grapevine collection from red blotch disease and other pathogens.

Foundation Plant Services (FPS) develops, maintains, and produces high quality foundation stock and provides plant importation, quarantine, and testing services. FPS supplies pathogen-tested grapevine, fruit and nut tree, olive, rose, strawberry, and sweetpotato propagating stock to industry. Its strawberry, fruit tree, and grapevine programs are the source of propagation material for the California Department of Food and Agriculture Registration and Certification programs.
